One of the most famous pictures of any German soldier in WW2, and especially in the Battle of the Bulge. Its not as vivid a picture as others on the list, nor is it really all that shocking, but it is an intridging picture. Rarely is there such a famous picture of its kind in WW2. Simply a portrait, with little going on in the backround and little going on in the picture at all.
