I must say this year more then the past few years in my opinion, has been pretty exciting to watch!! Since their has been another "black eye" on baseball with A-Rod, steroids etc, its nice to see a bunch of veteran and all star players represent their countries and play ball. The U.S. vs Canada game was actually a VERY good game. Granted its pretty much just an exibition game, i think it has been fairly entertaing thus far. As I said more then the 06 one at least.

The US Baseball team was cocky and arrogant. The other countries wanted it more dudes. And as much as I love this country, the cockiness of the US Baseball team made me root for the opposing countries. They just didn't play hard, you could read it on their faces, there was no pride, no pride at all. Where is the outrage, where is the passion? Everyone jumped on those dudes in the US Basketball team, a team that had the wrong coach and a team built to fail. The motherf*****g media even rooted against the US Basketball team *cough, ESPN cough.* I hate double standards dudes, the US Baseball team was a bigger disappointment and you know why, Baseball is suppose to be our game, and tonight we lost to Mexico, a team that the US was vastly superior in talent.

America needs to grow up and have some pride in their country when competing on a global stage.

Was anyone else upset when Roger Clemens said in the commercial "I'm doing my part, what are you doing?" Roger you can't compare a game of baseball with real life soldiers! No one is trying to kill you Roger! I bet that the baseball players are more protected than the real heroes, the American soldiers!

I am not a big baseball fan, but I've actually became interested in this specific event. The way they decided to color the faces that of each nation's flag was pretty cool. It caught my attention, but naturally didn't steal the night.
