I am glad he is on this site. He makes me appear to be a pinko moderate in comparison. We need a few bomb throwers and he is one.

I am under the impression that this guy still thinks bush is great? He may be a very intellegent person, but he doesn't often show that when backing up his opinions. He and EO seem to use bullying tactics rather than facts.
But then, I am a rebublican so I am glad he is on my side. ;)

I seldom agree with a word he writes, but he provides comic relief, so I'm giving him a *5*.

I know there are a fair number of you here that are just shaking your head at the latest drama about the HOF list. Most of you don't care about it (at least you say you don't) There are some of us who do care about the list, and then there are a few who really really care about it. IMO, the list is meant to encourage members to write good reviews. Unfortunately,  some go out of their way to mock the list, while others use tactics to up their rank. I can't speak for RIA, but I think that is an insult to the site, and the hard work that they put into our cyber home. Those deliberate acts of dis respect should stop. I'm guilty of stirring up negativity around here, when politics are involved, sometimes negativity can't be avoided.This can be a fun place to play, and argue. I'd hate to lose it because of something we did.

I don't know-he may be some right wing wacko who actually still thinks Bush is great-(maybe that's why he doesn't like #16?) His comments overall aren't too bad though.

I dunno, he's made a few direct assaults on my character over the last couple months and apparently thinks my only passion is my toys. It doesn't stop him from being a reasonably good reviewer, but I don't see him as a five star reviewer anymore.

UPDATE: Well, I hate to be the guy that points and shouts when somebody loses all credibility in my eye, but he's gone and done it. I have no clue what his crusade against me is really about, but he can crusade alone since I don't think anybody really has his back. If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me.

  He`s a pain in the fucking ass.  And I mean that in the best of all possible ways. 

His politics are not mine, in fact they`re damn far from mine.  But he says things and expresses a viewpoint that needs expression.  I like reading his stuff, he's smart, he's willing to debate and not just rant, as some political reviewers of either stripe do on here, and he can be very funny.

I suspect beers and political discussions in person might get a little testy, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

A remarkable person...Wise yet a Guy. Something to meditate on! 5 stars all the way!! I changed my mind...1 star but a smile and a nod. Fair enough I would think!

After Genghis, he's probably RIA's best spokesman for the paleo-conservative point of view.  Original weblists, and a top-notch reviewer when he takes his time.

I admire people who stand strongly for what they believe. Wiseguy is one of them.

One of my absolute favs on this site (yeah ~ U 2 Genghis!! :) ).  Since we come from the same area ~ we really have a lot in common.  I totally respect him and his views.  Great reviews and knows what the heck he is talking about AND CAN BACK IT UP!!  Love the Wiseguy!!    All of this ASSUMING Wiseguy and Wiseguy19 are one in the same!

A fine reviewer, love reading his stuff.

Update:  Has Wiseguy19 left? Again, I'm very disheartened to hear that. It's depressing. Politically, Wiseguy and I probably agreed on nothing, but he was funny, smart, and actually a very nice guy. As with the others who have left (all of whom I liked and respected), I hope he reconsiders and returns. He will certainly be missed. If he decides that returning is not something he wants to do, I wish him all the best.

Wiseguy and I don't generally agree on political issues, but he's smart, and funny, and often quite insightful. I have friends like him; we don't often agree on a lot, but we're able to share a few beers, and engage in invigorating conversation without it ever becoming caustic or personally abusive. And sometimes we can even find something to agree about-- whether it's a movie, or a band, or a particular restaurant. To be honest, there are conservative reviewers on this website who, in my opinion, are way too predictable. Wiseguy is never predictable and never boring. 

We seem to be losing a lot of good people.

aWiseguy is a gentleman. I'm sure I've said many things that piss him off, but he's never said a mean word about it. I rarely agree with his point of view, but he doesn't get vitriolic about it. In fact, he's pretty self-deprecating. I have to admit that there are many conservatives on RIA that I can't get along with at all, but I have nothing but respect for aWiseguy.

Straight to the point and his points are usually accurate. One of my top 3 reviewers on the site. A real asset to RIA.

Back to the main topic: rating the Wisenhammer. Did just as 'magellan' suggested back in November and looked up http://www.rateitall.com/awiseguy. Quite remarkable, indeed. Oh, must admit that my multi-star rating for 'wiseguy' was filed months ago, anonymously, so...

Also one of the first I got to know here...a great reviewer, a man of conviction, and a friend who is not afraid to stand up for someone else.

Cool guy! Intelligent and funny. Love his smart-ass remarks. Overall, very sharp, informative, and well-rounded.

A good mix of humor and seriousness. Even if I disagree with a comment he makes, I'll usually give him the helpful because of how well thought out he is on various topics.

Has some funny quips.Wiseguy19 isn't a preachy or self-righteous reviewer, and he seems to be a cordial person, and doesn't limit himself to just social and political themes, he also contributes to sports, music, history, and other topics.
