I think Vicious would be a pretty vicious name. If the kid turns out to be a football player like his father was, the name would definitely be a plus. Opposing players would be scared to go up against somebody named Vicious. The downside is the Vicious has a negative connotation, and might lead to some trouble for him. However, Vic is already a built in nickname for those who didn't want to call him Vicious.
