I take it back. Khalil is not the worst name on this list. Much like naming your kid Sue, at least you'll know that some adolescent stuck with Rainer will either learn to fight or won't have to worry about enduring adulthood.

Actually Rainer is a German name.. as in Rainer Fassbinder, the director. The closest you could come in French is Rene or Renaud. Not a great name in any case.

Definitely artsy and although I have some european lineage, I've got no French genes.

Rainer ( pronounced Ren Yeah ) is a cool French name. It's hard to pronounce but is cool with character. Kinda artsy, but also unique. If you have some European ( French) ancestry in you, you could go with this name.
