The full name Bartholomew isn't that great, but the nickname Bart is good. It might have been annoying to name your kid Bart during the 90's when the Simpsons were at their peak, but the name should be alright now.

Bart. Bart Simpson. Cant get over that. Like Chauncey, an old school name with charatcer and distinction. Oldie but a goodie, but get ready for the Bart Simpson refernces.

This is a great formal name and the nick name, Bart, is also great. It is the name of one of the Twelve Apostles and many great people.
