 | irishgit (138) 07/21/2008 | Assuming I could play an instrument, which I can't, I think I'd like to have been a sideman for the legendary Robert Johnson.
He'd have to overlook my pigment deficiency though.

 | FranksWildYears (48) 03/04/2008 | Booker T and the MG's, the house band from the Stax Records studio in Memphis. I could have played with most of the great Soul and R&B artists of the golden mid 60's to mid 70's era, travelled the world, made a good buck and not had to put up with fame's annoying intrusion into my life. And I'd get to hear Booker play Green Onions evey night.

 | MrTuner (5) 03/04/2008 | It would be cool but I am not sure it would be fit for me.

 | Twitchin' Monkey (14) 05/17/2007 | dave matthews band. hands down. i love the style of music and i think, for me, it'd be the most fun to play with. there are songs i could get crazy and jam on the drums with, and plenty that i could sit back with my feet propped up and chill with the bass. i'd probably be the only guy on stage not stoned out of his gord, but i can have fun jamming with them with their 20 minute songs (if you've heard their live stuff, you know what i'm talking about) without the mary jane. i'd have a blast i think.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 05/17/2007 | I always wanted to play in the Hunnic Band at Murphy's Strip Bar and Armenian Grill. The instrumentation is flexible. Right now the band has a tuba, a bagpipe, an oud, a valve trombone, a flügelhorn and a xylophone. The legendary didgeradoo player went back to his dingo farm Down Under.

 | Broodinghen (12) 05/17/2007 | Would like to play strange instruments for TMBG. More generally I'd like to play the viola in a string ensemble.

 | disgust4PCness (19) 11/24/2006 | Easy...frontman for Van Halen, but from what I can tell the drummer and guitarist are tough to get along with...so if that didn't work out, perhaps fronting just about any of the 80's hair/glam metal bands.

 | oscargamblesfro (77) 11/24/2006 | The Riverbottom Nightmare Band from 'Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas'...either that or a Japanese Motorhead tribute band.

 | CanadaSucks (45) 10/16/2006 | Impossible to rate, but a fascinating question that I can't resist. . .I can't choose from the following- alto or tenor sax with John Coltrane, bass guitar alongside Jimi Hendrix, or any stringed instrument during the inital performance of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". . .

 | BlueOrchid (41) 10/15/2006 | Probably with H.I.M. I was originally going to say Aerosmith but they'd look like a bunch of cradle-robbing pedophiles if I actually was in the band. Plus, I just adore Ville Valo's dark lyrics.

 | Djahuti (54) 02/09/2006 | I'd stick with the one I'm in right now,but I might like to steal us a new member or two if I could pick from famous bands.

 | SZinHonshu (44) 02/08/2006 | Easy answer: AC/DC. If I was a rock musician I'd aspire to play with the best. Besides, they seem like some entertaining guys to hang out with on a cross-country tour.

 | CherrySoda99 (29) 02/08/2006 | I'd actually like to play in my own band, with my friends and stuff. I think it'd be more fun than playing with strangers.

 | souljunkie (20) 02/08/2006 | Oh wow!! Ive been a musician for so long and thought this millions of times. I think I would like to tour as Bad companies vocalist, or be the rythym guitar player in Aerosmith, So I could hang with Steven and company!! Id also would have loved to spend one day with Ray Charles before he passed.
