a good solid name.very masculine sounding. if they wanted to they could give a longer version of Max, and there are quite a few.

It's the most poular name given to dogs. I guess it'll work if you eventually want him to fetch your slippers.

I have a friend who goes by Max as an adult. I didnt know him as a Max so I have a hard time buying into it. It's OK. I think of the Simpsons episode where Homer ( Maybe that's a better name Homer? ) changed his name to Max Power. Now that was funny. He got it off Marge's hair dryer.

Just make sure he's got a cool last name to go with it, like "Max Power" or "Max Speed."

Max is good and is a bit unusual among the Tylers and Andres who permeate this new generation. Maxwell goes well with just about any family name of Eastern European derivation and most last names of British origin.

Max is a decent name, but I would prefer to go with Maximus as the full name.

I absolutely love the name Max. It's very simple and not as common as Matt, Ryan, Mike, etc.
