This is a name that should become popular in the future. It just sounds cool. It also sounds Middle Eastern, which could be an issue for some. Still, I kinda like this name.********UPDATE********** Khalil is the name of the San Diego Padres Shortstop. Here's his Bio. His middle name is Thabit. What's up with that? Khalil Thabit Greene (pronounced kul-LEEL)... completed his four-year college career as Clemson University's all-time leader in hits (398), doubles (92), RBI (271), extra-base hits (150) and total bases (657)... helped the Tigers reach the College World Series twice (2000 and 2002)... spent his first two seasons at Clemson as a third baseman... majored in sociology... was a four-time ACC Academic honor roll selection... was drafted after his junior season by the Cubs in the 14th round of the 2001 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign... on June 26, 2002, was presented a special resolution from the South Carolina General Assembly by Representative Bud Webb and Senator Thomas Alexander... graduated from Key West (FL) High... was a Dade County All-Star selection as a senior... his team won the state title during his sophomore season... enjoys professional wrestling, especially Ric Flair... signed by scout Mike Rikard (Padres).

Your "not sold" on it? Meaning there's a chance with some persuasion that you might make the purchase? Look, zuchinibut, with all due respect to my fellow alumnus who came up with this turkey, a kid named Khalil only has a future as a hip-hop recording artist or an Islamic terrorist. Kahlil ... good God. If I was your kid I'd hold a grudge against you for the rest of my days if you stuck me with Khalil. Remember, he'll want you to buy him a car bomb on his 16th birthday.

I believe the spelling is Khalil. It sounds alright, but I'm not sold on it.
