One of the best movies I've ever seen. Funny and heartwarming.

I enjoyed the film thoroughly, but I wonder how much creative license they took breaking from history. Some of it seemed far fetched. Were these real names?

great movie based on the real life womens baseball team of the 40s. I loved that this movie hit on part of history that some knew little or nothing about. Geena Davis was good as Dottie who with her younger sister make one of the teams on the women's baseball. Tom Hanks was great as the drunk washed out former baseball player hired to coach the team. Madonna, Lori Petty, rosie O'donnel, were team mates. there are not too many sport movies that represent the ladies so this one was a treat.

Aside from then length of the film, I could watch this dozens of times without a problem. Tom Hanks and Gena Davis helped turn the film into something incredible.

I always like to watch the women during the tryouts at the beginning of the movie.
