a 3.5. Griffin is nice. it is unique enough where there would not be other Griffins in the classroom. it has a good sound to it. it is one of those names the more I say it i like it.

Oooo, aren't we all a bit testy about Griffin. Well, guys it's a matter of personal taste of course, but I think it has a really cool Celtic sounding ring to it. And I wouldn't worry too much about the association with Ryan O'Neil's ner-do-well pathetic son who I imagine will have completed his decent into total obscurity by the time your son makes it to grade school. To be honest though, I would probably not name a person this. I did, however, give it to one of my Welsh corgis as a middle name. Seems to work well for him (o;~.

A last name. Not a good one either. Griffin Mill was the character in the Book and Movie - The Player - A Robert Alman movie from the 90's. Sounds like a fictional name too - Griffin.

Perfect if you are the drug abusing child with a history of legal run-ins of Ryan O'Neal or have a shaggy mane and wings sprouting from your back.

Grif is a pretty decent nickname, but Griffin just sounds funny.
