Carson will probably be a really trendy name in the next few years, and I don't really want too common of a name. I also don't care for the last name as first.

Kinda cool , Hollywood-type name like Carson Palmer ( from USC ) , Carson Daly ( from MTV ) and , of course , Johnny Carson. If I lived in California, I'd consider this name. It may grow in popularity if you use it.
