A step up from Michael, Phillip, William or David. It's alright. Ordinary, but alright. I like it spelled Stephen and not Steven. A better name is Stefan.

Stephen is a strong name although fairly common. Steve is a good nickname for the name.

This is a great name, the name of the first Christian martyr and many kings and princes. Steve, the nick-name, is very good as well. I suppose you could use Steven, but that does not have the style.
