I don't care for the name Larry. When I hear this name I think Perfect Strangers, and if I had to choose a name from that show I would go with Balki.

Lawrence is a very good first name. You will hear " Lawrence ! Lawrence of Arabia !" first when it's mentioned. Still , there's something classy about a Lawrence. Larry, on the other hand, is more hit or miss. Guys named Larry run the gamut of cool to dorks. Stick with Lawrence and you'll be OK.
