Not the spiciest hot sauce one can find, and is slightly sour on the taste, but it goes well with a lot of dishes such as buffalo wings, Tacos, raw oysters, and in a Caesar. For those who don't know what a Caesar is, it's a cocktail native to Canada with the following ingredients:Clamato juice, Worchestershire sauce, vodka, celery salt, ground black pepper, and Tabasco sauce. If you don't like the first taste of it, just add more Tabasco sauce until you can't taste anything else.

It's a pretty good hot sauce, but I wouldn't recommend putting it in everything that you want to add a little heat to, as the vinegar kick that really defines Tabasco sauce doesn't quite work with everything.

Shouldn't this be listed in hot sauces?

Most people underutilize this stuff. Goes great on scrambled eggs/omlettes for breakfast. A nice kick to chili (for almost any recipie). . .and if you're roasting a whole chicken, try salt, red pepper, a few of your favorite spices, and a few splashes of Tobasco and you won't be disappointed. Great stuff that can be used for sharp, spicy, vinegary flavor.

I got into the habit of putting it on my eggs on a trip through the U.S. southwest about 20 years ago and have done so ever since.

There are not too many items that I think this goes on, but put a couple of dashes on some scrambled eggs, and I'm hooked.

Is okay, but there are other hot sauces to try . . .

I admit to liking Tabasco, especially on my eggs, and I have lived long enough now, to have started on my second bottle!
