A sociopathic, racist anal orifice. And undeniably one of the greatest players in the history of the game. Ignore his ridiculously high career batting average (an over-rated stat anyway) and you are still left with a better than average power hitter, a fearsome baserunner, a nearly supernatural on base percentage, a good defensive player, and an indomitable will. In many ways it can be argued that Cobb is baseball's ugly secret, a dangerous and almost evil man who channelled his pathological rage into brilliance on the diamond. He is an intriguing, repellent, and fascinating figure. And he belongs in the Hall of Fame.

The greatest baseball player in the history of the game. Those who would assert otherwise need to take a peek at the record books. Everybody hated him, but his near psychotic sense of competitiveness is probably what made him the GOAT because there have certainly been thousands of players with superior athletic gifts.

Ass****, but one of the greatest players ever, obvious 5 star HOF'ER.
