I simply can't believe what people actually put themselves through just for a bit of fame. If I had a shadow of a chance of being on TV, I'd choose "Deal or No Deal" or "Wheel of Fortune". Not junk like "Fear Factor".

I could do fear factor for the challenges that have to do with physical things...but when it comes to eating disgusting things, forget it!

Nah. I don't like bugs and worms, and I'm too old to humiliate myself on TV for money.

I’m allergic to bugs and sheep guts.

Never! I think that a person without any self-respect or too desparate for finances or attention would do that. I don't fit into either category!

I'm scared of heights, I have a weak stomach,I'm claustrophobic and I can be a big crybaby if I get hurt so it is unlikely I would qualify for the show even if I wanted to .

Maybe as the challenge (". . . and, for this segment of the show, you have to run away from that little Angry Asian Chick. Whoever makes the best time makes it to the next round!"), but generally, no. I'm not cool with eating animals which are still alive.

A free trip to whereever they film is worth it to get you out of the office for a few days. Then you've got a shot at $50,000 and you're on tv for the night. Most of the physical stunts are reasonable and if whatever you were faced with was really that revolting to you, here's a novel idea - don't do it. It'd still be a fun experience and lets be honest with ourselves - if someone knocked on your door and handed you a ticket to be on Fear Factor, you're going to honestly tell them you'd rather play on your computer tonight?

Not in a million years. Of course, this poor-natured, uncreative, and just plain gross reality snoozefest will probably only be around 1 more year as the reality TV bubble finally bursts.

Oh hell no...since moving to the Midwest I've done something even more terrifying, tried White Castle, previously totally foreign to my experience, they don't exist back home.. put it this way, I'm typing this now with a tentacle coming out of my stomach.

Its not disgusting to me. Not, it would actually be degrading to me as a human being, and probably my family in general.

No. And for the sole reason that you will never get me to eat/drink anything that nasty.

I probably would if they got rid of people eating nasty things.

no way, the first time they asked me to eat something disgusting,I would be out the door. some of the stunts, maybe, but i am getting to old to hurt myself for money that after the taxes are taken out would not last that long anyway.

I'd never eat some of those twisted things; not even if I was guaranteed the win.
