OMG yes!! aqua net, and ratting our bangs to the fullest extent possible, there was never a limit to how high you went!!! but then came the aftermath of brushing it out....... lol

Oh my god. First, perm hair, highlight. Take home, get up at 4am to wash and style. Use mouse, gel, blow dryer, teaser, and final net. Backcomb, curl, back comb.... put on big earings, bright pink lipstick... walk to school because you missed the bus.

I remember a lot of the girls fixing their hair like that in the late '80s and early '90s -- they resembled roosters! Probably used a lot of hairspray, too. Way too outrageous for my taste, even then.
