A great guy. The only person who has defeated Guiliani in an election. Not the most effective mayor. Would have done much better as a legislator.

Didn't receive the acclaim or notice that was enjoyed by the mayors who sandwiched his term in office, Koch and Guiliani (hope I spelled that name correctly).
