The Black Label J.D. is a pretty good Tennessee whiskey. One of the best known American brands it is usually ordered by newbies or diehards that are very brand loyal. You could do better though.

Jack Daniels is the rail whiskey where I bartend, which says something about its quality. They sold out several years ago when they dropped from 86 proof to 80. And I have to admit that I am a little disappointed that irishgt has this listed under bourbons when it is widely known that JD comes from Lynchburg, Tennessee.

I never really have liked Jack. Oh yeah by the way.... NOT BOURBON!

so plain, watery, and cheap tasting compared to other whiskies. if u wanna jus get smashed then it does serve a purpose

This will work when nothing else is around. But be careful, the smell of this stuff alone is enough to piss you off.
