It may not hold up in today's entertainment environment as a prime time hit, but when it was airing, it reflected the pop culture of it's time, was creative and allowed writers to get away with some things that they couldn't with a live production show.

Haven't really watched it since I was a kid, but it's a classic. Trivia note - this was the first television series in which a man and his wife were shown sharing a bed. It broke historical ground!

The year was 1960, and many homes were tuning into this show for the very first time, excited because of this new comedy that just happened to be animated -- "The Flintstones"! Yes, this is a milestone in television, being the first of its kind. Now, even though "Simpsons" has been running for several years since my adolescence, I still think Fred and the gang comes out on top. Hanna-Barbera at their best.

A blatant knockoff of Ralph and Ed indeed. A few funny episodes, and the great Harvey Korman was amusing as the tiny alien "Gazoo." Iliked it when Fred got knocked on the head and became a snob though- "Madam, the name is Fred-erick" and "Everybody into the Pewel' ( pool)

Not my personal favorite but I have to give it credit for originality, especially given the era. Wasn't this the very first prime-time animated show? And come to think of it, wasn't this show sort of paired with The Jetsons? I don't see that one on this list. As to irishgit's challenge... my unscientific research says about 2 to 1 in Mrs. Rubble's favor.

Never cared much for this animated version of "The Honeymooners." I am however, awaiting the anticipated flock of reviewers arguing whether Betty or Wilma was hotter.
