05/11/2008 | Bush's critics cannot understand that even a President is a human being and, to the dismay of many, he can be a Christian. As such, he reads the Bible, he prays to God and meditates upon His word. and his actions are definitely influenced by his beliefs and convictions. Notice the "I trust" in his statement. It doesn't say "I know". BIG difference.

03/17/2006 | UPDATE: Canada, I guess you were referring to me with your comment? Look I'm not happy with everything Bush has done recently either. I just do not take every word the man says and try to take issue with it, twist it and blow it out proportion. ORIGIONAL MESSAGE: People are reading into this comment. Bush was NOT saying when he speaks that God is speaking. Whether you believe Bush is a Christian or not, it doesnt matter. I'll let God be the judge. Christians believe/ desire/ or pray for God/ the Holy Spirit to guide their path and give them direction. We are still human and still make mistakes.
