03/18/2006 | it is allright gosh, I remember singing this one in grammar school way back in the 1960s. i agree it sounds a bit more like a camp song. at least it is not an in your face antiwar song.

03/18/2006 | I don't think this is an anti-war song, more of a jingoistic ode to american patriotic ideals. I'm trying to remember if I ever have used the word jingoistic before.
