I was going through some songs the other day to load onto my Ipod and ran across this song only it was covered by Glen Campbell. It wasn't too bad. It's about all the private soldiers who have fought and died over the millennia for the whims and wishes of others.

Never been all that fond of it, a Buffy Sainte-Marie song that Donovan covered and had a minor hit with.
