Oops, I made a mistake, actually the song 'Less than Zero" was about fascist leader Oswald Mosley. "Olivers Army" is a tune that Costello actually wrote while in Belfast. He was troubled by the situation there, and drew parallels between contemporary events and events of Cromwellian times-"Oliver" is obviously a reference to Cromwell.
