How many ice skating dudes listen to freaking hip hop!? I hate hip hop but using hip hop and Bode Miller in the same sentence is wrong. If anything, Bode's poor performance maybe linked to today's crap emo bands. MY SOUL IS DRROOWNNING!! ARHHH!!! You suck Bode Miller. What an embarrassment to America! I need a beer!

Cares about himself. I wish he could stop talking unessesarily on the commercials and be more serious in what he does when he contends for medals. He must also learn to be more open on live television. He is acting like Marion Jones- conteneder before, pretender after with exposure to Nike. This shoe company is tarnishing these athletes with money!

I hate this guy so much. He can't shut up about WHATEVER'S on his mind one day, and thinks too existentially for an athlete. When you are competing, you FOCUS on WINNING and nothing else. You don't drink and screw around before competitions, or say you'll be happy to not win anything because the world is too commercial or some crap like that! He sounds like he has mental problems, possibly schizophrenia, possibly megalomania, either way, he's unbalanced. NBC, Nike and all the endorsers blew it backing this guy...just goes to show character is more important in this world than all the scumbag corporations and ad agencies like to believe...I just find American athletes and celebrities are getting nastier every year. Sasha Cohen...don't get me started on her... Magellan, you're spot-on about that hip-hop culture mentality. It is DESTROYING America.

Way too much hype for Bode going into the games, and very little results to show from it. He hasn't been awful, but he hasn't won a medal yet either. The American public was expecting more from him after all the publicity he got the month before the games began.

Memo to idiot-advertisers (especially Nike) - how about having your athletes actually winning something before you hit them with the money hose?

Bill yourself as the greatest of the world and then fail, you deserve everything you have coming to you. I didn't really appreciate the "I don't care about medals" comments either... And I bet if I was sponsoring Bode to spend his days skiing and drinking, I REALLY wouldn't appreciate those comments either. It's that damn hip hop culture again!

Showing himself to be more hype than hero. It's not that he isn't winning per se. But if you're going to be arrogant, and put up websites dedicated to your greatness, you'd better have something to show for it.
