To answer a question below, any sex that involves penetration other than vaginal is considered "sodomy" under many laws, and that leaves only two realistic possibilities. However, the term has come to be used primarily for anal sex. It's also been used loosely as pretty much anything done between members of the same sex. Anal sex is illegal in some states. Oral sex is illegal in some states. Both are illegal in a few states. In one state, it used to be grounds for divorce for a husband to even ask for oral sex. It's been proposed that the "69" position be outlawed for health and safety reasons as some women clench their teeth with orgasm. But I'd say, the risk is the man's to take.
