Not only did they influence the country, their and other SF Bay music was determining what should be recorded by other bands over in Europe that were coming to tour stateside. They should have been in long ago. They were a part of the psych. rock music genre that can't be forgotten, especially when you hear someone on a guitar playing the chords for Summertime in the year 2009. A Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame that doesn't include the greatest of the original punk blues bands is a fraud!
