This is one more example of why people should try to follow the Golden Rule instead of some moral code foisted upon us. If people are born gay (and I firmly believe it's genetic, not a lifestyle choice), they don't have an alternative for satisfying their sexual needs. Sex with a member of the same gender is the only real choice they have. Why should the rest of us straight folk care? If it's done in the privacy of their bedroom, is it really the business of anyone else? If you try to put yourself in their shoes, and if you follow the Golden Rule, you should be able to see that it's not wrong and certainly should never have been made illegal. Happiness is often difficult for many people, and I don't wish to see it denied to gays when it doesn't hurt the rest of us.

This is the main reason that so many people remain Independants or don't register at all.

I don't know that this is ever going to be a non issue. Historically, there have been many leaders- Kings, courtiers, Popes, Cardinals, Priests who have had an array of sexual accounters with members of the same sex club and...... I. Don't. Care. Surely there's enough in the world to worry about than whether someone's going down on someone of the same sex. Poverty? War? Marxist policies? Hello.

While I don't think it should be illegal, I personally believe that it's morally wrong.

Adults who have been doing such imoral actions are fed up of making sex with women; that is, they had been making sex with women in a wrong way that they did not feel the essence of vagina's sweetness. May be they used to put their penis out of vagina...ah! ah! ah! It is a pity!

if they are two consenting adults, why should this be considered illegal? personallly another old law that should be taken away. if both parties are willing it should not be considered against the law.

I find these laws to be utterly ridiculous, for reasons I've stated elsewhere and will state again here. What two consenting adults choose to do in the privacy of their own bedroom is entirely between them. I believe in equality and that, to me, means that if heterosexuals are allowed to marry and have sex without fear of persecution or prosecution, then homosexuals should be allowed to marry and have sex without fear of persecution or prosecution. I doubt I'll live long enough to see homosexuals able to MARRY without fear of persecution/prosecution, but I like to think I may see them able to have SEX without fear. I can only hope.

Somebody offsite suggested this, though these laws are usually covered by the anti-sodomy laws. Should be noted however that these laws remain on the books even if they're presently unenforceable. Mississipi waited until the 1990s to officially ban slavery, so I figure it's going to take awhile before the legislatures in some states are going to take action to clean up their codes.
