10/09/2008 | verging on surly, increasingly we have a population of people who need to be reminded that their paycheck is determined by my buying food from that store, which is determined by how nice they are and well they prepare the foods I'm buying...supply and demand...

02/24/2006 | Disgruntled, yes. Mean, no. I've worked in fast food in college so I know what it feels like. Customers treat you like trash while you try your darndest to make their meal "just right."

02/24/2006 | It's definitely a crappy dead end job and here in Arizona most of the Mexicans are working postions at McDonalds, Burger King, Denny's, and IHOP's. We really run into a lot of them and they tend to be really good servers.

02/23/2006 | I have encountered a lot of fast food workers who are very happy to serve you. In my recent encounters I think most of these people are immigrants. I think people who are born American and have to do these jobs are often quite bitter.

02/22/2006 | for the most part the employees have been okay. I have encountered some nasty ones. they seem to need to vent their hatred of their job at some random customer. I have had a few rude ones. I worked in fast food many years ago, so I know you can really work your buns off. and maybe just took heat from a previous customer. i just do not appreciate it if their hostility is aimed at me when I have done nothing to cause it.
