The US team wasn't awful, but just didn't play good enough to call themselves better than the other good teams in the Olympics. They got knocked out before having a chance to play for a medal, and won't come home heroes this year.

Only the disgraceful showing by the Canadian team kept these guys from being the worst of the eight teams in the medal round.

I guess our foreign policy ineptitude has finally bled into athletics. . .

Popular wisdom said that hip hop culture seemed to be the primary problem with that 2004 team. So what went wrong with the Mens Hockey Team? I think Beelzebub says it best in his comment about the mens hoops team: "These hip hop bad boys from the hood have spent so much time developing their street cred that nobody realized that they have no skill!!!"
