 | Vudija (98) 03/19/2006 | This was actually added because of my experiences with them in Collier County. The county is in the middle of the Everglades Restoration Project. They claim emminent domain on homeowners in the region, and yet they allow golf course developers to buy up large chunks of land, that could possibly be used to restore the natural environmental balance. I just don't see the appeal of golf and I am tired of hearing the county complain about land usage, when they are the very reason that some of this land is being used in ways that go against the project itself.
Ridge: I don't dislike golf courses in general. I dislike "the atrocious amount of them" :) There are 90-100 in a 20 mile radius of my house, all in the same city. I believe that to be WAY too many!
