01/28/2003 | OK - truth about Pig Stands. I only tried, yes - tried to eat there once. I had some kind of pork slop sandwich in some watery, vinegary sauce. It had a nasty after taste. I didn't even finish it. I can understand the 24/7, ambience, slice of SA vibe, but it's just plain nasty. Maybe it's supposed to be.

01/28/2003 | pig stand food is total pig slop. its salty, fattening and not pretty. but if you go, go for the ambience. the retro diner decor and jukebox are the coolest. i used to go with 2 drag queens at 3am tuesday mornings and was considered a run of the mill regular.
