03/22/2008 | I've said it before and I'll say it again- American lawyer-bashing is some of the highest level of hypocrisy we have (and that's saying a lot) - the lawyer is the first person (or the second) you call when you have been arrested justly or unjustly on the list of must-contact-this-person-now. Yes, there are many slimeballs that make the profession look bad- but if you wrong senor CS I won't personally seek my vengance on your head (that would cost me money and time- that's saved for the family) I will unleash the wrath of Satan, Satan, and Usurper Law Firm upon your helpless person. (Usually compromises can be negotiated with good conversation and expensive beer thus preventing the unleashing of SS and U law firm) Anyways, lawyer-bashing is for those who don't understand or appreciate the function that the do serve despite a few negative examples.
