Carter's terrible choice of director. Replace human intel by technology. Disaster for which we continue to pay the price.

This guy was near or at the bottom of the barrel for CIA directors. Under the inept leadership of Jimmy Carter, Turner slashed about 25% of the operatives from the agency. It still has not recovered from that idiocy, and now everyone is talking how we don't have any agents on the ground. I wonder why.

Bush's record with the CIA is poor, but this guy attacking the Bush record is laughable.
