I'm also annoyed at the juvenile behavior of kids in elementary school. Learning is supposed to be punishment, not funishment.

When I see college kids now I am sometimes shocked at how young they look. Hell...a college freshman this year was probably born in the 90's. however, college is college. I completely understand the need for college kids to act juvenile while out from under their parents control.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Classic; straight down to the list of things that you do not take part in. I'm the exact same way. I have never acted like the "stereotypical" teen/college-aged person. I'm the person who balances out my friend's wild ways. They tell me that our differences are probably what keep us all so close.

I was annoyed with it when I entered college actually. But, then I'm sort of a rare case when it comes to that sort of thing! I don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't pull pranks, or any of those things that could be dangerous or against the rules. In fact, I haven't been to ONE college party! But, that's fine with me. I've got a great GPA and enjoy college throughly!

Yeah, and I'm in classes with them. Fortunatly I have a built up tolerance for this from the Marines. This will come in handy when I become a teacher.

It was a sobering moment when I found myself fuming at "those kids" and their obnoxiously loud car stereos!

Heh. I was annoyed at the juvenile behavior of some college kids when I WAS a college kid. And even some (er, a great deal) of people above college age. I've found that what is deemed "juvenile" behavior isn't confined by physical age so much as it is by personality; I've seen five year olds who act more "mature" than some fifty year olds.
