 | irishgit (138) 05/29/2008 | I value loyalty very highly, particularly after the deceitful way my second marriage ended, but I don't regard it as a "turn on." It is an absolute requirement for me if I were in a relationship that lasted longer than a couple of weeks, however.

 | FranksWildYears (48) 05/29/2008 | If this were true then my Border Collie would be considered dead sexy. In truth, I probably spent more than a few nights pining over a woman who demonstrated behaviour that was quite the opposite. And its often the case that you take for granted and neglect a partner who is blindly loyal. It seems stupid, but its human nature. According to the Tao of Steve, we pursue with the greatest vigor that which elludes us.

 | cyclee (18) 05/15/2008 | I find dumb loyalty quite a turn-off. If a company has been screwing me over, I'll go work for the competitors who will pay me better and see if they'll treat me fairly. My husband has insisted to be loyal to his prior employer, and regardless how unhappy with the treatment he was getting there, he still decided that he'd play fairly and told them that he would be leaving. Well, because of that they decided to fire him before he leave.

 | uncnc08 (43) 05/04/2008 | After you have dated people that were less than loyal and then you find someone that is loyal and you can trust 100% other things about them seem less important, knowing someone will be loyal and never doubting them takes the relationship to a whole new level.

 | LastMessenger3 (40) 03/27/2007 | Absolutely! I am a very loyal person by nature and I expect nothing less from a person next to me!

 | minkey (36) 03/27/2007 | It's not so much that loyalty is that big of a turn on, it's that the opposite is a total turn-off. I would say that if you're dating anyone over say 25 (I've always felt that 25 is a time to start getting serious with who you date...not that sooner is bad, but waiting too long after could turn you into a potential Fonze) who cheats even once, and you've found out about it, it's time to write them off for good. Maybe they'll change in a few years, it's quite possible, but let them do their thing - your time is more valuable than to waste screwing around.

 | Vudija (92) 06/06/2006 | Always a top priority in any relationship, whether it be a friendship right on up to a marriage and family. It's hard to find these days, but it's worth the waiting to find someone with whom you can totally depend on and trust.

 | doobiesNhof (21) 06/03/2006 | Loyalty and trust are rare commodities this day and age. If you have someone you can completely depend on, then you better hold on to them.

 | gatiw (2) 02/27/2006 | Doing what they say they are going to do. The most attractive people really turn me off when they are not there when I need them.
