I don't know anyone who denies their "geeky past" - those I know who were geeks (myself included) still are :P so there's no reason to lie about it ;) I think in the age of the Internet it's acceptable to say out loud you're a geek and proud of it :P

I was never a geek...yeah right...we all have those little things we wish no one knew about us and worry that the world might find out about...but then you remember everyone has a past and it's exactly that the PAST....

I was a geek as well. I was in band since 8th grade, had braces when I was a sophomore, was in theater/drama, and hung out in the computer lab after school. I enjoyed giving orders to the guys when I was the section leader of the bass drums!

Unless you don't want people to know about your Star Trek obsession, there is nothing wrong with being a geek. To Numbah: " I had braces! (sobs more)" That's about as believable as Donald Trump having real hair.

I would probably be considered a geek, or nerd. Past and present. I have no problem with it. why lie and try and act cool would not work.besides I am not ashamed if someone thinks I am geeky or a nerd.
