I feel that you should say what you feel when you feel it. If he doesn't say it back, well at least you know where you stand in the relationship. It gives you the upper-hand in a way. Sure, it's not the greatest feeling to have someone not say it back because everyone wants to be in love with someone who has the same feelings towards you, but for me, if he's not feeling it, at least I know.I do feel that people throw those words around a little to much and too quickly. Be sure before you say them.

The feeling of being loved and the giving of love is wonderful. If someone gave genuinely of themselves and state "I love you"(that's giving). If you cannot genuinely give back then that's selfish. I dont like this phrase, I feel that it's pretty much saying 'What you're saying is meaningless and not very important to me right now'. Its a slap in the face, it's as if you're not being listened too. If someone expresses feelings about something, and you respond with 'whats you're point?' The POINT is, you should be listening, and sharing your opinion. If you dont want too, you can say it in a nicer way.It's not very considerate.
