probably not quite as bad as being incarcerated in real life, but if an opponent has houses/hotels on the squares that you are able to avoid, not a bad deal. when i was in college we would play jailbreak by ac/dc whenever someone landed on go to jail.

A pain because you don't get your $200 that should be coming up, but can save you if there are hotels on the dark blues.

Usually a bummer, but it may offer you more chances to land on Free Parking or the valuable orange or red properties.

Early in the game, not a good space. Mid-game, kind of mixed. Late game can be a route to a safe place to regroup while other folks land on your properties.
