Disappointing cover. Elektra dropped the ball on this one. The Doors were one of the first bands with their own logo (like their heroes Love). Too bad they didn't have more creative control. Second album graphics were much better.

A very "blah" cover for such a great album.Morrison vehemently objected to his photo being bigger than the other guys in the band-but the executives went ahead and did what they thought would sell better-since they figured his looks were good for "marketing".
