Cartoonist Robert Crumb's cover is one of the more memorable, and more apropos covers for any album of the era.

Janis and co had a good one here with it's comic book flavor.

Brilliant vintage cartoon art from the master of underground comics,Robert Crumb.Crumb created a cartoon for each song on the album as well as for band credits and other info.In those days, the record company was cool enough to spend the extra money to make a foldout album cover for this, even though it was a single disc.Inside is a big picture of the band jamming out onstage with a lightshow behind them and on the back is a B&W photo of the immortal Lady Herself. On the original album there's also a little circle in the lower rt.corner that says "Approved By Hells Angels-Frisco"...too cool!
