Hmmmm what could cause such a phenomenon, let's see...count back nine months - a little too much holiday cheer perhaps?Must be true since August gave me a sister and a whole lot of other friends and relatives. I think my arrival had something to do with St. Patrick's day.

If August has the highest percentage of births, then we can claim that most children are conceived between the months of November and December. That means that the holiday season is quite a busy time!

Odd. Every other source I've heard mentioned September as being the month which boasted the peak rate of births in a month. Close enough, I suppose.

August is the month in which my two siblings and I were all born. My mom tells me she is certain I was conceived over the holidays, in my grandparent's guest bedroom.
