Bob Dylan and his girlfriend Suze Rotolo bundled against the cold winter air on West 4th Street in Greenwich Village. In retrospect the photo tells a lot of Dylan's early story, It's in Greenwich Village, where he was discovered. Suze is the one who introduced Bob to a lot of the folk scene regulars like Richard and Mimi Farina and Mimi's sister Joan Baez. Suze is the subject of a few of Bob's early songs, like Boots of Spanish Leather.

This was a great album. I was an early Dylan fan but I don't relate much past John Wesley Harding although I have been to several recent Dylan concerts. We all wondered who was the babe on the cover, and we found out years later that she was Bob's favorite squeeze.
