If I'm going to have potatoes with my steak, it's going to be on the side, with gravy on the spuds!

Mashed potatoes are good with some things, but considering that a good steak is either grilled or broiled, there will be no gravy, and mashed potatoes without gravy is kind of pointless.

Good enough, but I actually prefer a simple baked potato, or roasted potatoes with a touch of olive oil and fresh rosemary.
