 | Djahuti (57) 03/17/2006 | One of the best books about Morrison out there. The author has built on some of the other books, but has done ample research and has insights of his own.He has dug deeply into Morrisons early, formative years and most important of all is familiar with his poetry, which, when understood sheds a lot of light on the inner workings of this multi-faceted man.Author Stephen Davis presents a well balanced view without putting his subject on a pedastal or dragging him through the mud like many other writers have done.It is amazing just how much is known about JDM,and yet he remains a mysterious figure in our culture.Intriguing stuff.
