 | lmorovan (19) 04/25/2008 | As our "good friend" would say, "the Taliban agrees".

 | Loerke (53) 01/17/2007 | If this is really true, then I would have to say that it is a sign of a problem, even though it's a private institution. To the conservatives, I do admit that universities tend to be bastions of liberalism nowadays, but that's because liberals have fled to the ivory tower while the country as a whole has made a major shift to the right. On the whole, though, it's more likely that this dude's story is just another result of conservative attempts to generate indignation and to create another whipping-boy.

 | GenghisTheHun (179) 12/20/2006 | Yale grads would do more good for the USA trying to run the Taliban than trying to run the military.

 | Djahuti (57) 06/25/2006 | I doubt the "taliban" guy was there to do recruiting. If so,the FBI'd nab him then and there.Sounds like another ploy to whip up right wing hysteria to me.

 | jamestkirk (24) 06/21/2006 | It's their business if they choose to sour their own reputation through these kinds of actions. I just don't want my tax dollars supporting an institution that chooses to act in this manner.

 | drbowler (14) 03/09/2006 | Well of course it's Yale exercising their freedom of speech/choice ,whatever, to let the Taliban guy on the campus, but of course it is also the Goverment's choice weither to fund Yale on not...at least that's the way it should work...but alas Yale would probably scream discrimination and that the money is an entitlment, makes me glad I'm going to Rice or Texas Tech.

 | Underspin (25) 03/09/2006 | IMO certainly a sign of the times we live in, at least in regards to elitist neo-Marxist ideologues in academia today. In my recent university experience, they unfortunately ruled the roost, and anyone who attempted to challenge them was viewed as a threat needing to not only be discredited, but quite possibly eliminated (through firings, failings, harrassment, disinformation campaigns, etc). Sound kind of extreme? Well they are!

 | souljunkie (21) 03/09/2006 | Ya know, sometimes it just seems that being highly intelligent or highly educated just means your allowed to be stupid as hell! Last year 400 million dollars of your tax money went to this institution. I guess we all need to invite the Taliban to our next keg party too. Here have a beer and a bomb....welcome.
