Good movie. Greta Garbo at her world weary best. But this was the year that Chaplin made "City Lights".. which wasn't even nominated. Sadly for Chaplin, Hollywood was intrigued with the new phenomenon of "talkies" and his own great (silent) movie probably seemed dated to them.
