07/18/2007 | i can remember smoking a few as a teenager to try to look cool. wasn't worth it though. i never liked it and i'm lucky i didn't get addicted.

07/18/2007 | hey- I'm a 40 a day smoker trying my guts out to quit, it's been 3 hard days so far but if there's one thing that will drive me back into the arms of my understanding, warm and compassionate human smoking friends, it's sanctimonious comments like these. Enough witrh the sarcasm and judgements please, just some supportive quietness would be good while we try to get out of our addiction without negative attitudes from the pious majority.

04/30/2006 | Of all the stupid reasons to smoke this is towards the top, but is probably one of the biggest excuses if people were honest (when they started, that is).

04/30/2006 | thats probably why i started at 13 years old but it isn't now. now its because i've been smoking 27 years. man thats a long time. i have to say though this year has been the first time i have ever thought about quitting so its a first step.

Of course, it is not a good reason. There are no good reasons, so I don't expect to see many high scorers on this list.
