As the incidents of claims rise- the price of ID theft insurance might rise as well (and eventually lead to a lack of service and inflated costs i.e. medical 'insurance') If you call your homeowner's insurance company they should (should) offer ID theft insurance for a small cost (I paid less than 50 bucks a year for my policy.) If you rent- I assume that you can roll it into renter's insurance. Either way- at present the value for your dollar makes this kind of insurance a looong look. ID Theft is a real headache to get yourself out of. . .
